Detlef is the founder of Mountains Song. He brings with him a lifetime of experience, dedication, and compassion. His journey began as a young boy already and throughout his young adulthood he discovered that he was different from others. He began helping those that were in need.

Detlef follows the Ancient Way of Healing, and is also an Usui / Holy Fire Reiki Master Teacher. He specializes in spiritual healing and holistic healing, considering the well-being of the entire being.

He uses aromatic plant extracts and essential oils for lotions, creams and soaps that are in house made by him personally.

When he is not helping people or animals, he loves being outside, listening to the sound of nature, taking a hike in the forest, watching the waves roll in, playing with his granddaughters, wrestling with the family dogs, and enjoys the company of horses.

Detlef started to built his team with his two daughters, Saskia and Nadja. This journey is not new to them, and they have long ago discovered that they work well together.

Nadja is a registered massage therapist (Alberta) and specializes in clinical, rehabilitation and deep tissue massage.

Nadja has worked in a family medical clinic offering Reiki and massage therapy, and brings with her a unique set of skills, always tailoring each treatment to the client’s needs. She incorporates a variety of techniques into each treatment for your physical and mental and emotional health and well-being.

But this is not her only passion. She is also an Usui Tibetan Reiki Master Teacher, offers nutritional counseling, along with custom meal plans and lifestyle plans, and loves horses and dogs.

She found her love and passion for horses and dogs while she was no older than her own daughter now and took it a step further and started practicing equine and canine massage therapy.

Saskia is Detlef’s youngest daughter, and has always had a strong intuition and the ability to see and talk to spirits. She began her spiritual journey when she started seeing small spheres floating about around her.
As she turned to her father with questions, she knew she was in the right place for answers. Under his tutelage, she has specialized in communicating with Spirits, practices Reiki as well as the Ancient Way of Healing.

Through Reiki and spiritual practices, Saskia has gone down a path of healing and self-discovery, embarking on a journey to help all beings who seek connection with themselves as well as others.

Outside of Mountains Song, Saskia is a mother of two beautiful children, a passionate artist who likes to use the help of the spirit realm to create beautiful pieces, and often can be found on our various trails and forests .
